When we arrived at this property in Chelsea Heights, it was clear the existing gates were due for a major refresh. Rather than replacing the entire setup, we chose a more sustainable route by salvaging what we could. The gate frames were completely rotten and warped beyond repair, but many of the pickets were still in good condition. We carefully dismantled the old gates, built new timber frames, and reused the intact pickets alongside a few new ones. The end result: sturdy, functional gates that look great and operate just as they should — all while reducing waste and preserving usable materials.
