Blackbutt flooring

This home had an area of around 10m² affected by old termite damage in the original Tasmanian oak floorboards and subfloor framing. Fortunately, much of the surrounding 50-year-old flooring remained in excellent condition. We carefully salvaged and set aside the reusable boards for future projects, preventing decent timber from going to waste. After repairing and reinforcing the subfloor, we installed new FSC certified blackbutt flooring using a low VOC adhesive. This helped us to reduce the project’s environmental footprint while ensuring a high quality, durable result.
